Cedar Rapids Flood
Flood and Tornado Relief. Tom Slaughter, owner of Tornado's in Cedar Rapids, discusses damage his business sustained during the June flooding that brought eight feet of water inside the first floor and completely submerged the basement of his 3rd Street building. The Division is offering a number of programs to assist flood affected licensees in the Cedar Rapids area, including partial refunds of license fees. A meeting was held at Kirkwood College on Tuesday, September 30, 2008, to discuss relief options with local authorities and licensees.
