| Lynn M. Walding is the Administrator
of the Alcoholic Beverages Division and was appointed in February
of 2000 by Governor Tom Vilsack. Prior to his appointment, Mr.
Walding served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Iowa
Department of Justice for nineteen years. During his tenure
as an Assistant Attorney General, Mr. Walding represented various
departments of state government as a member of the Administrative
Law Division, and also represented the State of Iowa as a member
of the Iowa Trust Recovery Team. Additionally, Mr. Walding serves
as an adjunct professor of public administration at Iowa State
University where he teaches courses in Administrative Law and
Government, Business & Society.
Mr. Walding received his B.A. in political science, an M.P.A.
in public administration and his J.D. from The University of
Iowa. He is also the recipient of several civic awards, including
the Dwight Ink Public Service Award (2000), the Junior Chambers
Outstanding Young Iowans (1995) and was selected for a Rotary

| James Kuhlman serves as an Operations
Manager for the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division and works
in conjunction with the Administrator in the formulation of
policy and operating procedure for the Division. James directs
the activities of the Licensing and Regulatory Sections of the Division. He also manages Iowa's Tobacco Enforcement activities aimed at reducing youth access to tobacco products. James serves as the liaison to the Governor's Office and the General Assembly on all legislative related matters.
James has served the Division since 1980, initially
as the Assistant Operations Manager for 220 state owned and
operated liquor stores prior to assuming his current responsibilities.

| Nicole Gehl is an Operation Manager for the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division and works in conjunction with the Administrator in the formulation of policy and operating procedure for the Division. Nicole directs the activities of the Products and Customer Service Section, Inventory Management Section, Building and Grounds Section, and Warehouse Operations. Nicole oversees the annual operating budge for the Division and serves as the liaison to the Governor's Office and the General Assembly on all budget related matters.
Nicole has worked for the Division for five years, initially
as the Program Development Coordinator for the Iowa Pledge
Tobacco Enforcement & Education program. Nicole received
her B.S. in political science and history from Iowa State
University and has received a Certificate of Public Management

| Shannon Hagge is an Executive Assistant to the Administrator and Operations Managers of the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division. Shannon is responsible for various office duties including: maintaining the Administrator's schedule, updating time sensitive materials, making travel arrangements, ordering supplies, proofreading and special projects as assigned. Shannon will also oversee ABD's art collection.
Shannon is in her first year with the Division. Previously she worked as an Administrative Assistant at John Deere Credit for eight years. Shannon received her B.A. in Graphic Design/Photography from Grand View College & American Intercontinental University-London in 2003. Recently she has obtained a certification from Des Moines Area Community College in Creating Web Pages & HTML coding. Shannon can be reached via email
