Label Approval
Label Approval and Product Code Number
An Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) Label Approval must be obtained prior to any product being listed in Iowa. Once label approval has been obtained, an application must be submitted to the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association (NABCA) (703.578.4200) for a Control State Code Number (CSC). Each case shall display the CSC, Universal Price Code (UPC) and Shipping Container Code (SCC) numbers and bar codes.
