A product not on Temporary Price Reduction (TPR) that is out of stock
in the Iowa ABD warehouse at any time will not be allowed to post
a Temporary Price Reduction for six months. In lieu of not posting-off
for six months, suppliers may pay a penalty. The penalty amount is
based on the number of days out of stock multiplied by an averaged
three-week supply.
The supplier of a product on TPR that is out of stock in the Iowa
ABD warehouse will be requested to extend the TPR to the following
bailment period. Should the supplier decline to extend the TPR, the
product will not be allowed to post a TPR in the future. Extended
outages will result in the product being discontinued from the Iowa
Bailment System. |
