ABD Utilizes Mobile Tagging
The Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division has been developing mobile tags to direct users to additional, related and supplemental content on IowaABD.com. Tags can be found on print materials and are scanned by users with smart phones (iPhone, Droid, Blackberry, etc). Mobile tags can be utilized to direct users to a specific webpage or URL, send or receive preset text messages, input contact information into a smart phone, or to dial a specified phone number.
Most ABD print materials now have mobile tags. These tags allow you to access a variety of useful information from your mobile phone including wholesale pricing and specials, holiday order and delivery schedules, Iowa laws and ABD's social media feeds.
